The FAO Meat Price Index of the month of December 2015 reached the 87 points, which meant a decline of -2.36% in relation to previous mensual index of November, that was 89.1 points (-2.1 pts), and was placed a -10.06% under the annual average of 96.73 points recorded (-9.73 pts).

This is the lowest record reached in the entire year, presenting a difference of +16.8 points (19.31%) with respect to the highest monthly value of 2015, which was 103.8 points.

In relation to the values of the previous year, in December 2015 there was a year-on-year decline of -20.04%, 21.8 points under the 108.8 pts reached in the same month of 2014.
