The FAO Cereal Price Index of the month of June 2002 reached the 52 points, which meant a increase of 3.59% in relation to previous mensual index of May, that was 50.2 points (+1.8 pts), and was placed a -6.43% under the annual average of 55.58 points recorded (-3.58 pts).

The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 64.4 points was 23.85% higgher than the selected month (+12.4 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 49.3, that is 5.48% lower than the 52 points of June 2002 (-2.7 pts).
