The FAO Cereal Price Index of the month of January 2020 reached the 100.7 points, which meant a increase of 3.39% in relation to previous mensual index of December UNDEF(of) 2019, that was 97.4 points (+3.3 pts), and was placed a -2.34% under the annual average of 103.11 points recorded (-2.41 pts).

The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 116.4 points was 15.59% higgher than the selected month (+15.7 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 97.3, that is 3.49% lower than the 100.7 points of January 2020 (-3.4 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in January 2020 there was a year-on-year decline of -1.08%, 1.1 points under the 101.8 pts reached in the same month of 2019.
