The FAO Cereal Price Index of the month of October 2021 reached the 137.1 points, which meant an increase of 3.24% in relation to previous mensual index of September, that was 132.8 points (+4.3 pts), and was placed a 4.54% above the annual average of 131.14 points recorded (+5.96 pts).

The highest monthly value achieved throughout the year of 141.4 points was 3.14% higgher than the selected month (+4.3 pts), while the lowest value during the period was 123.9, that is 10.65% lower than the 137.1 points of October 2021 (-13.2 pts).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in October 2021 there was a year-on-year increase of 22.3%, 25 points above the 112.1 pts reached in the same month of 2020.
