The origin middle value of the Food Prices Index along the week from 24 to 30 of October 2022 reached the 2.068 euros, which meant a decline of -7.01% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 2.22€ (-0.16€), and was placed a -5.18% under the annual average of 2.18€ recorded (-0.11€).

The highest weekly value achieved throughout the year of 2.56 euros was 23.55% higgher than the selected week (+0.49€), while the lowest value during the period was 1.83, that is 13.25% lower than the 2.068€ of 43th week of 2022 (-0.24€).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in 43th week of 2022 there was a year-on-year increase of 26.79%, 0.44 euros above the 1.63€ reached in the same week of 2021.

Regarding the wholesale average, this reached the 3.39 euros, which meant a decline of -0.88% in relation to price of the previous week, that was 3.42€ (-0.03€), and was placed right in the arithmetic mean of all the weekly values recorded throughout the year.

The highest weekly value achieved throughout the year of 3.69 euros was 8.85% higgher than the selected week (+0.3€), while the lowest value during the period was 3.12, that is 8.58% lower than the 3.39€ of 43th week of 2022 (-0.27€).

In relation to the values of the previous year, in 43th week of 2022 there was a year-on-year increase of 13.61%, 0.41 euros above the 2.98€ reached in the same week of 2021.
